Petro Shatkovskyi

Petro Shatkovskyi's career includes many years of successful service in law enforcement. He also served as the National Coordinator for cooperation with NATO in the field of security and law enforcement. Colonel General, civil servant of the 2nd rank. Awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the I, II and III degrees. Fluent in English and proficient in Polish at a functional level.

Career highlights

From 1976 to 2013 — service in state security agencies in operational and leadership roles. In 2003–2004 — Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine. In 2009–2010 — Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, Presidential Commissioner for oversight of the SBU. From 2012 to October 2013 — First Deputy Head of the SBU and Head of the Anti-Terrorist Centre at the SBU. He has also worked on military-technical cooperation and export control, and served as the National Coordinator for cooperation with NATO in security and law enforcement.

Banking and finance, capital markets; representation of non-resident interests, international legal relations.
