Serhii Meshcheriak
Serhii Meshcheriak is a Ukrainian lawyer and diplomat. From 1990 to 1996 he served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, taking part in numerous meetings of heads of state and government and in bilateral and multilateral international negotiations as a member and head of Ukrainian delegations.
Achievements and public service
Candidate of Legal Sciences, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine. Member of the Presidential Council of the Ukrainian Association of International Law and of the Union of Diplomats of Ukraine; member of the Bar Association of the City of Kyiv. Participated in the work of international organisations, including the UN and the EU, and served on the Ukraine–United States Bilateral Commission. Held positions as Adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Head of the Economic Security Department of the NSDC, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukreximbank, and Chairman of the Board of a commercial bank.
