ACTIO continues to protect the interests of the Institute of Archaeology of the NAS of Ukraine and the archaeological heritage

Since 2016, ACTIO attorneys have provided legal support to the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine — a leading research institution in the field of archaeological studies. Since 2018, ACTIO has also represented the Qualification Board for the issuance of qualification documents, which determines the professional level of archaeologists for obtaining permits to conduct research.
Within this cooperation, ACTIO attorneys have handled administrative and commercial proceedings related to defending the decisions of the Qualification Board and the rights of the Institute of Archaeology to use the premises necessary for its research activities.
A separate area of work is participation in cases concerning the protection of archaeological monuments and the return to state control of the lands on which they are located. In such proceedings, the Institute of Archaeology supports claims aimed at preserving Ukraine's non-renewable cultural heritage.
ACTIO also assists archaeologists in obtaining permits to conduct research and defends them in disputed situations, including cases of unjustified pressure or criminal proceedings.
ACTIO attorneys continue to work on protecting Ukraine's cultural heritage and the rights of the researchers who preserve and study it.
